About This Project

This project “Towards an equal future for Roma girls & women” aims to improve access to quality STEM education for Roma preschool children and empower young Roma women with digital skills training to enhance their employability and economic independence.

The project targets 20 preschool children aged 4-5, 40 Roma women aged 18-35, and 40 families. The project will achieve its objectives through a combination of preschool education, digital skills training, and community outreach activities. The project is expected to increase awareness of the importance of STEM education and gender equality and to improve the socio-economic status of Roma families.

By involving STEM programs in preschool education, Roma children can develop skills which will prepare them for success in the future and help them achieve their full potential as well as can help break down gender stereotypes that can limit girls’ interest and participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields.
