Like every month, the month of May at the Centre for preschool children was marked by a creative workshop for the children in the project and their parents. This time, they created musical instruments “shakers” out of already used plastic cups, and filling made of different grains and materials such as lentils, wheat, Styrofoam and sand. The parents and children had lots of fun and by the end of the day our classroom was transformed into a beautiful musical corner.
Toward the end of May, our educators at the Centre for preschool children Nadez, Jovica and Aleksandra held a workshop for better parenting following the Step by Step program, which helps parents understand how to praise and criticize their children without spoiling them, or making them feel unworthy. A good amount of parents came to the workshop and were satisfied with what they’ve learned.
